HAKONE, JAPAN – Hotel Okura will open its first Japanese resort, Okura Resort Hakone Gora, in 2029.
The 58-room property will feature private outdoor hot spring baths in every room, using authentic Owakudani thermal water. Designed by Gwenael Nicolas, the resort follows a “Forest Hideaway” concept blending nature with modern luxury.
Guests can also expect premium teppanyaki dining and signature Okura hospitality. The opening reflects Hotel Okura’s confidence in the growing demand for high-end domestic travel.
