Netflix will release the final four episodes of the eight-episode season on that day, bringing resolution to the dark and mysterious events of Part 1 and answering the burning question of Wednesday’s survival.
The first installment took viewers on a dark ride. Wednesday found herself trying to unmask a persistent stalker while simultaneously looking into a disturbing conspiracy at the Willow Hill psychiatric facility, where she discovered a secret bunker for experimenting on outcasts.
The tension boiled over in the final moments of episode four. Tyler the Hyde, who was inadvertently freed, went on a violent search for Wednesday. The episode ended with him throwing her from a window, leaving her fate ambiguous as she delivered a chilling voiceover about facing death.
In addition to resolving that life-or-death scenario, the upcoming episodes are set to introduce a major new player. Lady Gaga will join the cast as a mysterious new character affiliated with Nevermore Academy, adding another layer of intrigue when the season concludes on Netflix.
